Dear Parents:
We have been working on time tests on multiplication since mid-October. We are making progress, but I wanted to give you some additional resources to help your child better learn his or her facts.
Third graders are expected to know their multiplication facts by memory by the time they leave third grade. We are practicing in the classroom but we simply do not have enough time in the day to give to drill and practice for your child to learn their facts. Making sure your child works on Reflex Math each night will help. However, more than that is needed, especially because many are still working on addition and subtraction on Reflex Math.
Here are some worksheets for your child to use to practice at home. Time tests can cause anxiety, so practicing at home can help with that. Please be aware that each link has 10 versions of the test, so you may want to just print one out at a time with the key.
